Golf in Manchester

Manchester is a Kennebec County town on the western bank of the Kennebec River, directly across from Augusta, that has long served as residential space for state-government workers and professionals who prefer a quieter setting than the capital city. The town's landscape — rolling fields, mixed hardwood forest, and the occasional pond — is gentler than the urban character across the river. Cobbosseecontee Stream drains the southern part of Manchester before joining the Kennebec, and the surrounding countryside has a settled, agricultural quality.
