Golf in Litchfield

Litchfield is a Kennebec County farming and residential community in the rolling hill country between Augusta and Lewiston, along the route that connects Maine's state capital to its largest industrial city. The landscape is pastoral — small farms, ponds, and woodlots among the modest hills — and the town functions primarily as a residential community for workers commuting to both the capital and the Androscoggin County industrial base. Cobbosseecontee Lake, one of Kennebec County's more significant bodies of water, lies just north of the town center.
