Golf in Fruitport

Fruitport is a small Muskegon County village in the agricultural and suburban corridor east of Muskegon, a community in the transitional zone between the Lake Michigan lakeshore communities and the agricultural interior of western Michigan. Muskegon County's character in the Fruitport area combines the fruit-growing tradition that the lake-effect climate supports near the shore with the suburban residential growth that has followed US-31 and I-96 eastward from the lake communities.
