Golf in New Hudson

New Hudson is an Oakland County community in Lyon Township in northwestern Oakland County, an area that has developed significantly as the suburban expansion of the Detroit metropolitan area has extended along the I-96 and M-5 corridors toward the northwest. Oakland County's northwestern communities—Lyon Township, South Lyon, New Hudson—represent relatively recent suburban development in areas that were primarily agricultural until the late twentieth century, and New Hudson serves the residential and commercial market of a growing exurban Oakland County community.
