Golf in Advance

Advance is a community in western Forsyth County, in the NC Triad between Winston-Salem and Davie County. The Advance area occupies the agricultural and residential piedmont west of Winston-Salem, in the outer Forsyth County landscape along the Yadkin River corridor. Forsyth County is anchored by Winston-Salem and the Triad's western urban zone, but Advance and similar communities in western Forsyth retain a more rural character. The Bermuda Run and Tanglewood areas in this part of the county include some of the Triad's established private golf communities.
