Golf in Eden

Eden is a city in Rockingham County, in the NC Piedmont along the Virginia border and the Dan River. The city was formed by the merger of Leaksville, Spray, and Draper in 1967, and reflects the industrial heritage of the Dan River corridor's textile mills. Rockingham County borders Virginia to the north, and Eden sits on the Dan River near the Virginia state line, in the upper Piedmont landscape of north-central North Carolina. The city's textile and tobacco heritage shaped its twentieth-century character, and its Dan River setting gives it a distinctive geographic identity in the northern Piedmont.
