Golf in Goldsboro

Goldsboro is the county seat of Wayne County, in the NC Coastal Plain east of the Triangle. The city is home to Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, which hosts the 4th Fighter Wing and is a major F-15E Strike Eagle installation, giving Goldsboro a significant military community. Wayne County sits in the Neuse River valley of the eastern NC Coastal Plain, between Johnston County to the west and Lenoir County to the east. Goldsboro's position on U.S. 70 between Raleigh and Kinston makes it the commercial hub of the mid-Coastal Plain corridor.
