Golf in Wilson

Wilson is the county seat of Wilson County, one of the more significant cities of the NC Coastal Plain east of the Triangle. The city was historically one of the largest tobacco markets in the world, and the Wilson Tobacco Warehouse district contains some of the largest surviving tobacco auction warehouse buildings in the country. Wilson sits at the intersection of U.S. 264 and U.S. 301, between Raleigh to the west and Greenville to the east, serving as a commercial hub for the inner Coastal Plain. Three golf facilities serve the Wilson community, reflecting its size as one of the eastern NC Coastal Plain's principal cities.
