Golf in Seven Lakes

Seven Lakes is a lake community in western Moore County, in the NC Sandhills. The community is in the longleaf pine terrain west of Southern Pines and southwest of Carthage, in the sandy Sandhills landscape of western Moore County. Seven Lakes encompasses several small lakes created by impounding creeks in the Sandhills, giving the community its name and water-based recreational character. The community is west of the main Pinehurst-Southern Pines-Aberdeen golf corridor and represents a more residential, less resort-oriented part of the Moore County Sandhills.
