Golf in Pojoaque

Pojoaque is a federally recognized Tewa-speaking Pueblo in Santa Fe County, located roughly 15 miles north of Santa Fe along the Pojoaque River drainage at around 5,900 feet. The pueblo has developed a diversified economic base that includes Buffalo Thunder Resort, several gaming facilities, and Towa Golf Club — a 27-hole layout that draws players from Santa Fe and Albuquerque seeking high-desert mountain golf without the elevation extremes of the Santa Fe ski basin. The Sangre de Cristo and Jemez mountain ranges frame the Pojoaque Valley from both sides, creating panoramic conditions on the course's upper holes.
