Golf in Pahrump

Pahrump occupies a wide valley in Nye County roughly 60 miles west of Las Vegas, separated from the Clark County metro by the Spring Mountains and the Nopah Range. The town has grown substantially as Las Vegas residents have sought more affordable land and housing within manageable distance of the city, and its population now approaches 40,000. Two golf courses serve this expanded community: the Town of Pahrump's Lake View Executive Golf Course at par 59 and Mountain Falls Golf Club's par-72 regulation layout. The Spring Mountains' dramatic eastern face is visible across the valley, and the Amargosa Desert stretches south toward Death Valley. Year-round playability at 2,700 feet, without the extreme heat of the Las Vegas floor, suits the growing retired and semi-retired population.
