Golf in Bend

Bend is Central Oregon's preeminent city — a community that has grown from a timber town into one of the Pacific Northwest's most sought-after recreational destinations, with outdoor sports, craft brewing, and, critically for golfers, an exceptional concentration of golf courses. Deschutes County's largest city sits at roughly 3,600 feet elevation on the eastern slope of the Cascades, where 300-plus days of annual sunshine create golf conditions that the rainy western valleys can't match. Tetherow, Pronghorn, Eagle Crest, and the Sunriver complex all orbit the city, while Black Butte Ranch and Sisters courses extend the corridor north.
