Golf in Pronghorn

Pronghorn is a luxury residential and resort community in Deschutes County east of Bend, developed on the high desert plateau where the vegetation transitions from ponderosa pine to sagebrush and juniper. The resort takes its name from the pronghorn antelope that inhabit the surrounding high desert landscape — the fastest land animal in the Western Hemisphere and a distinctive feature of Oregon's eastern terrain. Two courses — Nicklaus Design and Tom Fazio Design — occupy the property, positioning Pronghorn among the Bend area's most design-forward golf destinations. The eastern Cascade plateau's wide skies and volcanic terrain create a backdrop unlike anything in the western valleys.
