Idaville is a small community in Washington County near North Plains, occupying the Tualatin Valley agricultural plain west of Portland's urban core. This corner of the valley retains more of its agricultural character than the communities closer to the urban centers — berry farms, nurseries, and the berry-processing infrastructure that has defined Washington County's farming economy for generations. Golf in the North Plains and Idaville area serves both the residential population that has expanded along the Sunset Highway corridor and the farming community that predates that development.
