Golf in Reedsport

Reedsport sits at the mouth of the Umpqua River on Oregon's lower coast in Douglas County, a working community at the heart of the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area — the largest expanse of coastal sand dunes in North America. The Umpqua's estuary here is productive and ecologically rich, supporting crabbing, clamming, and salmon fishing alongside the dune recreation that draws visitors. Reedsport is less resort-oriented than the more northerly coast towns, and its golf reflects that community-centered character. The surrounding landscape of dunes, estuary, and Coast Range forest creates one of the coast's most varied natural settings.
