Golf in Baneberry

1 golf course in Baneberry, Tennessee.

Baneberry is a planned golf resort community in Jefferson County, set along the shoreline of Cherokee Lake in the lake country of upper East Tennessee. The Cherokee Lake reservoir, created by the damming of the Holston River, defines the landscape here — coves, peninsulas, and wooded ridgelines shape both the visual character and the recreational identity of the community. Baneberry Golf and Resort was developed as a self-contained lakeside retreat in an area where Tennessee Valley Authority lakes transformed the mid-20th-century landscape into a resort corridor. Jefferson County lies between Knoxville and the Smokies, giving Baneberry reasonable access to both the metro and the national park corridor without the congestion of the Pigeon Forge strip.
