Golf in Loudon

Loudon is the seat of Loudon County, a small city on the Tennessee River at the foot of Fort Loudoun Lake where the reservoir begins to narrow toward the confluence with the Little Tennessee River. The county's geography is defined by the lakes — Fort Loudoun on the north and Tellico Lake on the south, both managed by the TVA — and the agricultural and wooded ridgelines between them. Loudon County has grown significantly in recent decades, driven largely by the Tellico Village planned community and the broader lake-country retirement market that has transformed much of the southern Tennessee Valley.
