Golf in Burleson

Burleson is a city straddling the Tarrant-Johnson County line south of Fort Worth, one of the growing southern Metroplex suburban communities. The city has developed as a residential suburb with growing commercial activity along the US 174 and I-35W corridors south of Fort Worth. Johnson County's Cross Timbers terrain has cedar, mesquite, and live oak on gently varied terrain, and the community sits at the transitional zone between the flat North Texas prairie and the more dissected Hill Country edge to the south and west. Burleson has attracted significant residential growth as Fort Worth's southern suburbs have expanded, and the community maintains a mix of suburban and semi-rural character.
