Golf in Benbrook

Benbrook is a small city in Parker County adjacent to southwest Fort Worth, near Benbrook Lake on the Clear Fork of the Trinity River. The community has a residential character with access to the lake and the parks along the western Fort Worth corridor. Benbrook Lake is a US Army Corps of Engineers reservoir that provides water recreation in this part of the Metroplex. The terrain of the Benbrook area transitions from the flat North Texas prairie eastward to the Cross Timbers west of Fort Worth, with cedar and oak on the gently varied uplands. The western Fort Worth residential corridor has seen steady growth as Fort Worth has expanded. Three courses serve the Benbrook area in the transitional terrain between the North Texas prairie and the Cross Timbers.
