Golf in Cedar Hill

Cedar Hill is a city in Dallas and Ellis Counties on the limestone bluffs southwest of Dallas, near Cedar Hill State Park and Joe Pool Lake. The city occupies some of the higher terrain in the southern Metroplex, with limestone outcrops and cedar trees on the hillsides above the Trinity River bottomlands—the highest point in Dallas County is in this area. Cedar Hill State Park on Joe Pool Lake provides outdoor recreation including camping, fishing, and water activities. The community has grown as a southwestern Metroplex residential suburb, with the Hillside Village shopping corridor as a commercial anchor. One course serves this southwest Dallas suburban community in the limestone bluff terrain.
