Golf in Corral City

Corral City is a small unincorporated community in Denton County in the rural northern Denton County fringe, north of Roanoke and the Alliance corridor. The area retains a ranching and horse-country character that contrasts with the suburban development pushing northward from Fort Worth along the SH-170 and US 287 corridors. Northern Denton County has seen significant growth in recent years as the DFW Metroplex has expanded northward, but the Corral City area remains more rural than the communities to the south. The terrain is in the Cross Timbers country of central Denton County, with cedar and oak on the gently varied terrain. One course serves this outer suburban community in the north Denton County area.
