Golf in Georgetown

Georgetown is the county seat of Williamson County north of Austin, one of the fastest-growing cities in the United States over the past decade, with significant growth driven by the tech-sector expansion of the Austin metropolitan area northward. Georgetown is known for its Victorian courthouse square, its designation as the Red Poppy Capital of Texas, and the large Sun City Texas active adult community which is one of the largest in the country. The San Gabriel River flows through the area, and Williamson County's limestone and cedar terrain at the edge of the Hill Country provides a distinct Hill Country character. Georgetown is approximately 25 miles north of downtown Austin, making it an accessible residential alternative. Four courses serve Georgetown in the limestone and cedar terrain of Williamson County.
