Lewisville is a mid-size city in southeastern Denton County adjacent to Lake Lewisville, one of the major recreational reservoirs in the DFW Metroplex created by the dam on Elm Fork of the Trinity River. The city has grown substantially with residential development along the lake and the I-35E corridor, and has a large international population including significant South Asian and Korean communities that have developed distinct retail and dining corridors.
