Golf in The Colony

The Colony is a city in Denton County on the southeast shore of Lake Lewisville, one of the communities along the Lewisville Lake shoreline that has developed a residential and recreational identity centered on the reservoir. The city is home to Toyota Stadium, the venue for FC Dallas of Major League Soccer. The Colony's golf facilities have been developed in the terrain near the lake, with the Old American Golf Club and The Tribute taking advantage of the north shore terrain. The Tribute's references to courses in the British Isles and the Old American's references to early American courses are part of the marketing identity for these two facilities.
