Golf in Magnolia

Magnolia is a city in northwest Montgomery County that has grown rapidly as Houston's northwestern suburbs have expanded toward the Sam Houston National Forest corridor. The community has transformed from a small rural town into a suburban residential area with master-planned communities catering to families relocating from the denser Houston suburbs. Montgomery County overall is among the fastest-growing counties in Texas, and Magnolia in the northwest county has been part of that growth along the SH 249 Tomball Parkway extension and the FM 1488 corridor. The pine and hardwood forest of northwest Montgomery County gives the community a wooded character that distinguishes it from the flat, treeless suburbs closer to Houston.
