Golf in Pecan Grove

Pecan Grove is a community in Fort Bend County in the Sugar Land area southwest of Houston, in the flat coastal plain of the Brazos River corridor. The community has a residential character adjacent to the Sugar Land employment and retail centers that have developed along the US 59 and SH 6 corridors. Fort Bend County has experienced rapid growth as Houston's southwest suburbs have expanded, and the Pecan Grove area is part of this suburban residential zone. The Brazos River corridor through Fort Bend County has the flat, former bottomland terrain that once supported sugar cane production and now has subdivisions and retail development. Two courses—Shadow Hawk Golf Club and Black Hawk Country Club—serve this Fort Bend County community in the flat coastal plain terrain.
