Golf in Sugar Land

Sugar Land is the largest city in Fort Bend County in the southwest Houston suburban corridor, a major employment and residential center that grew from former sugar cane fields into one of the most prosperous and diverse suburban cities in Texas. Imperial Sugar's long presence in the area gave the city its name, and the old sugar mill site has been redeveloped as a mixed-use destination. The community has attracted major corporate tenants to the Sugar Land Town Square and Fluor Corporation campuses and has a substantial South Asian population, particularly the Indian American community. Fort Bend County overall has been one of the fastest-growing counties in Texas, and Sugar Land is among the anchors of that growth. Four courses serve the Sugar Land community in the flat coastal plain terrain of the Brazos River corridor southwest of Houston.
