Golf in Katy

Katy is a fast-growing city in Fort Bend, Harris, and Waller Counties along the I-10 Katy Freeway corridor west of Houston, one of the most recognizable suburban communities in the greater Houston area. The city is known for its highly competitive high school football programs—Katy High School has won more state titles than any other large school in Texas—and has attracted a large suburban population. The Katy area has seen significant commercial development including the Katy Mills outlet mall alongside the residential growth. The flat coastal plain of the Brazos River corridor west of Houston has the characteristic terrain of the outer Houston suburbs. Four courses serve the Katy community in the flat terrain west of Houston.
