Golf in Westworth Village

Westworth Village is a small incorporated city in Tarrant County adjacent to Fort Worth and River Oaks in the west Fort Worth corridor, home to Shady Oaks Country Club. The community is one of the small western Fort Worth enclave cities that have maintained independent government status within the broader urban landscape. Westworth Village is adjacent to the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth (formerly Carswell Air Force Base), and the community has a mix of military-adjacent residential character and the upscale Shady Oaks club. The Cross Timbers terrain of west Tarrant County has cedar and live oak on the elevated terrain above the Clear Fork of the Trinity River. One course serves the Westworth Village area in the western Tarrant County terrain.
