Golf in Orem

Orem is a Utah County city that shares a border with Provo to the south and has grown together with it into a continuous urban corridor. Home to Utah Valley University, Orem has its own academic identity distinct from BYU-centric Provo. The city stretches from the Utah Lake bench on the west to the Wasatch foothills on the east, with the Geneva Steel site on the lake shore representing an industrial legacy now largely redeveloped. Orem is part of the Silicon Slopes technology corridor and its population skews young relative to the state average. Sleepy Ridge Golf Course occupies the lake-terrace edge of the city, providing a different perspective on the valley than the mountain-facing courses to the east.
