Golf in Washington

Washington is a Washington County city east of St. George along the Virgin River valley, one of the metro area's major growth cities as the St. George region has expanded. The city holds Coral Canyon Golf Course and Green Spring Golf Course, two of the courses that form the greater St. George golf cluster. Washington has developed a distinct identity from the larger St. George city, with residential communities spreading along the canyon bench and into the arroyos that drain the surrounding plateau. The red and white sandstone formations visible from both courses are characteristic of the Virgin River corridor's geology.
