Golf in Oshkosh

Oshkosh is a city in Winnebago County, set on the western shore of Lake Winnebago in the Fox Valley of east-central Wisconsin. Home to a campus of the University of Wisconsin and famous worldwide for the EAA AirVenture fly-in, the largest aviation event on earth, the city draws hundreds of thousands of visitors to its airport each summer. Oshkosh grew around the lumber and clothing industries, lending its name to a well-known brand of overalls, and sits where the Fox River meets Wisconsin's largest inland lake. The lake draws anglers, boaters, and sturgeon-spearers through the seasons. Golfers in the area find recreational and club courses throughout the surrounding region. With Neenah and Appleton up the lake to the north and Fond du Lac at its southern tip, Oshkosh offers a base for golf in east-central Wisconsin, on the shore of Lake Winnebago.
