Golf in Cody

Cody is the gateway community to Yellowstone National Park's east entrance and the home of the Buffalo Bill Center of the West, one of America's finest western history museum complexes. William F. 'Buffalo Bill' Cody founded the town in 1896 and promoted it throughout his life, and the community has maintained his legacy through the museum complex and an annual rodeo tradition. The Shoshone River canyon west of town is one of Wyoming's most dramatic geological features, and the drive through Wapiti Valley to Yellowstone offers spectacular scenery. Cody's tourism economy and the surrounding Absaroka Range make it one of Wyoming's most visited communities.
