Golf in Elverta

Elverta is a small unincorporated community in Sacramento County, north of Sacramento near the former McClellan Air Force Base. The community occupies flat valley terrain on the Sacramento Valley floor, in a zone of agricultural and residential land north of the main Sacramento urban area. Sacramento County's northern communities, including Elverta, are connected to the main urban area via local roads and arterials. The former McClellan Air Force Base, now McClellan Park, provides industrial and commercial redevelopment land near the community. Elverta is primarily residential with agricultural land uses on its edges. The community is served by local roads connecting to the main north-south arterials, with Sacramento providing most commercial services. Surrounding land is flat agricultural terrain in the Sacramento Valley, consistent with the rural character of northern Sacramento County.
