Del Monte Golf Course

Del Monte Golf Course is one of the oldest golf facilities in California, occupying terrain in Monterey adjacent to the Naval Postgraduate School on grounds that formed part of the former Del Monte Hotel resort. The Del Monte Hotel was a significant West Coast resort destination in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, and the golf course has operated continuously since that era. The course sits in the flat terrain at the base of the Monterey Peninsula, distinct from the ocean bluff courses further along the coastline.
