Golf in Fountain Hills

Fountain Hills is an upscale planned community in eastern Maricopa County northeast of Scottsdale, known for the large fountain in the town's central lake that ranks as one of the world's larger fountain jets. The community was developed around the lake and fountain as a centerpiece, with the Sonoran Desert terrain providing the backdrop for the planned residential neighborhoods. Fountain Hills occupies the desert terrain between Scottsdale and the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation lands, in the elevated Sonoran Desert foothills northeast of the main Scottsdale resort corridor. The community is adjacent to the McDowell Mountain Regional Park, providing desert recreation access for residents. Five courses serve the Fountain Hills community in the desert terrain of eastern Maricopa County.
