Paradise Valley is an affluent incorporated town in Maricopa County between Scottsdale and Phoenix, one of the wealthiest communities in Arizona with some of the highest property values in the Southwest. The town has maintained an exclusively residential character, prohibiting commercial development to preserve the upscale residential setting in the Sonoran Desert terrain at the foot of Camelback and Mummy Mountains.
