Golf in Glendale

Glendale is a major city in northwestern Maricopa County, home to State Farm Stadium where the Arizona Cardinals play football and where the Super Bowl has been hosted multiple times. The city also has Desert Diamond Arena, home of the Arizona Coyotes hockey team, making Glendale one of the more sports-focused suburban cities in the Phoenix metro. Glendale has a noted downtown antique shopping district and the Westgate Entertainment District adjacent to State Farm Stadium, providing retail and dining in the west Phoenix metro. The agricultural past of Glendale, which was known for citrus and cotton farming in the early twentieth century, has given way to residential and commercial development across the flat desert terrain. Four courses serve the Glendale community in the flat Sonoran Desert terrain of northwestern Maricopa County.
