Golf in Litchfield Park

Litchfield Park is a small community in western Maricopa County west of Goodyear, known as the home of the Wigwam Resort, one of the longtime destination resorts in the Phoenix area that has served guests since the early twentieth century. The community name derives from the Litchfield Ranch, and the Wigwam Resort developed from the ranch property into a major Phoenix-area destination. Litchfield Park has a small-city character in the West Valley, with the resort property as a central amenity and residential neighborhoods in the flat Sonoran Desert terrain of western Maricopa County. The West Valley's growth has surrounded Litchfield Park with suburban development, with the community centered on the Wigwam resort property. Two courses serve the Litchfield Park community in the flat desert terrain of western Maricopa County.
