Golf in Marana

Marana is a fast-growing town in northern Pima County northwest of Tucson, in the Sonoran Desert terrain at the base of the Tortolita Mountains. The community has seen significant growth as one of the northern Tucson suburban areas, with the Dove Mountain resort and residential development attracting upscale residential and resort investment in the rugged Tortolita Mountain foothills. Marana's location along I-10 north of Tucson has also attracted industrial and logistics development, with the Marana Regional Airport and the adjacent industrial parks serving the growing community. The Tortolita Mountains provide a dramatic backdrop to the north Marana residential areas, with the Sonoran Desert terrain transitioning from flat valley bottom to rugged mountain terrain. Two courses serve the Marana community in the desert terrain of northern Pima County.
