Golf in Oracle
1 golf course in Oracle, Arizona.
Oracle is a small community in northern Pinal County in the high-desert terrain at the base of the Santa Catalina Mountains north of the Tucson metro area, at roughly 4,500 feet elevation. The community's elevation gives it a cooler climate than the main Tucson Valley below, and the area has attracted retirement residential development including the large SaddleBrooke Ranch active adult community. Oracle is known for the Oracle Observatory and for the Biosphere 2 research facility located in the community, a unique glass-enclosed research station that has served as both a scientific facility and a tourist attraction. The terrain between the Catalina Mountains and the flat Pinal County desert gives Oracle a distinctive transition-zone character. One course serves the Oracle community in the high-desert terrain of northern Pinal County.
