Golf in Vail

Vail is an unincorporated community in southeastern Pima County east of the Santa Rita Mountains, in the flat desert terrain of the outer southeastern Tucson metro area. The community has grown with residential development, as newer housing at lower expense than the main Tucson city limits has attracted buyers, with the Vail Unified School District serving the growing community. Vail's position southeast of Tucson puts it at the edge of the metro area's expansion zone, in the flat Sonoran Desert terrain between the Santa Rita Mountains to the west and the Rincon Mountains to the north. One course serves the Vail community in the desert terrain of southeastern Pima County.
