Golf in Williams
1 golf course in Williams, Arizona.
Williams is a small community in Coconino County on I-40 at roughly 6,700 feet elevation in the ponderosa pine terrain of northern Arizona, the last Route 66 town bypassed by the interstate and a gateway community for Grand Canyon National Park. The community maintains a distinctive Route 66 character on its main street, with diners, motels, and shops reflecting the highway heritage that defined the community before the interstate era. Williams is the southern terminus of the Grand Canyon Railway, which offers excursion trains to the Grand Canyon South Rim, and the primary southern-approach community for visitors to the park. The Bearizona Wildlife Park north of Williams provides a drive-through wildlife attraction in the ponderosa pine terrain. One course serves the Williams community in the high-elevation pine terrain of southern Coconino County.
