Golf in Altadena

Altadena is an unincorporated community in Los Angeles County in the foothills north of Pasadena, at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains. The community occupies flat to gently varied foothill terrain above the Pasadena residential corridor, with the mountain terrain rising sharply to the north. Los Angeles County's foothill communities, including Altadena and La Cañada Flintridge, have residential character shaped by the mountain setting and the dry foothill climate. Altadena is primarily residential with limited commercial services, relying on Pasadena to the south for most commercial needs. The community has a diverse population and some notable residential neighborhoods. Eaton Canyon Natural Area is accessible from the foothill edge of the community.
