San Gabriel is a city in Los Angeles County in the western San Gabriel Valley, between Alhambra and Temple City. The city is home to the San Gabriel Mission, one of the early Alta California missions that began operating in the late eighteenth century, which is a significant visitor attraction and cultural landmark.
