Golf in Bodega Bay

Bodega Bay is a small coastal community in Sonoma County on the Pacific coast, north of Point Reyes National Seashore and south of the Sonoma Coast State Park. The community sits on the edge of the bay of the same name, where Bodega Harbor provides anchorage for commercial and sport fishing vessels. Sonoma County's coastline extends along the Pacific for roughly 55 miles, and Bodega Bay is one of the few harbor communities on this rugged stretch. The local economy centers on commercial fishing, tourism, and services for visitors to the Sonoma coast. State Route 1 is the main road through the community, connecting it to the Marin coast to the south and to Jenner and the Sonoma coast to the north. The bay and surrounding coastal terraces provide habitat for shorebirds and marine life that draw nature-oriented visitors to the area.
