Golf in Coachella

Coachella is a city in Riverside County at the southeastern end of the Coachella Valley, east of Indio and near the Salton Sea. The city occupies the lower, eastern end of the valley where the terrain slopes toward the Salton Sea basin. Riverside County's eastern Coachella Valley cities, including Coachella and Indio, have a large agricultural workforce population including many workers in the date palm and citrus industries. The city is primarily residential with a significant Latino and agricultural worker population. Coachella is associated with the annual Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, held on polo grounds north of the city. Interstate 10 and State Route 111 provide highway access to the valley.
