Golf in Little River

Little River is a small community on the Mendocino County coast, south of Mendocino village along State Route 1. The community sits near the point where the Little River meets the Pacific, in a series of small coves and coastal terraces characteristic of the northern California coastline in this area. Mendocino County's coastline runs for roughly 130 miles, with State Route 1 winding past a series of small coastal communities, coves, and state parks. Little River is primarily residential with a handful of lodging facilities serving visitors to the Mendocino coast. The surrounding land includes coastal headlands and the dense forest inland from the bluffs. Access and services are concentrated in nearby Mendocino village and Fort Bragg to the north, with Little River serving as a quieter stop along the coastal route between those larger communities.
