Golf in Shelter Cove

Shelter Cove is a small coastal community in Humboldt County at the western edge of the King Range, accessible only by a narrow mountain road from Garberville to the east. The community sits at the base of the King Range where the mountains drop to the Pacific at the southern end of the Lost Coast. Humboldt County's Lost Coast is among the most remote stretches of California coastline, where the terrain is too steep for the coastal highway to follow.
