Golf in March Air Reserve Base

March Air Reserve Base is a military installation in Riverside County in the Perris Valley, north of Perris and south of Riverside along Interstate 215. The base is a joint-use facility hosting Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard units. The March Field Air Museum on the grounds displays aircraft and provides educational programming about aviation. The former active-duty March Air Force Base was converted to reserve status in the 1990s, and portions of the surrounding land have been developed for industrial and logistics uses through the March Joint Powers Authority. Interstate 215 provides highway access. The base is in the Perris Valley between Riverside to the north and Hemet to the east. The surrounding Perris Valley communities have seen residential growth.
